Orders take 2 to 3 working days to arrive.
As soon as your order is ready for dispatch, you will receive a confirmation e-mail containing your tracking number.
Any customs duties or additional taxes for orders outside France or Europe will be charged to the buyer.
The buyer has the right to return items within 14 working days of receipt. Once the items have been received by De Jaegher, we will proceed with the refund if and only if the return conditions are respected.
Returns will be refused if the item has been worn. Our team of experts will carefully inspect each returned piece to ensure it meets our return conditions.
Jewelry that shows signs of wear, such as scratches, dents, missing stones, alterations, or any other evidence of use, will not be eligible for a refund or exchange. Our quality control team reserves the right to reject a return if the item does not match its original condition.
If a return is refused, the item will be sent back to the customer, and no refund will be issued.
For hygiene reasons, we no longer accept earring returns. This policy aims to guarantee the safety and satisfaction of all our customers.
When returning items, please include a copy of the invoice with its number and keep a proof of deposit. De Jaegher cannot be held responsible for the loss of returned items.
De Jaegher will cover the cost of returning items if they have been damaged in transit. In this case, please contact us at contact@dejaegher.com with photos within 48 hours of receiving the items.
If you wish to cancel or modify an order, please contact us at contact@dejaegher.com as soon as possible. De Jaegher will do its utmost to find an appropriate solution.
However, if the order has already been shipped, we cannot guarantee an immediate refund; we will treat each case individually.
CARE AND SERVICE
Metals react to their environment.
To preserve the brilliance of your De Jaegher jewelry for as long as possible, we recommend that you avoid contact with water, perfume, cosmetics or any other chemical product likely to alter the natural beauty of the materials. We also advise against wearing them while sleeping or during strenuous physical activity.
Clean them gently with lukewarm water and clear washing-up liquid, then air-dry carefully.
Remember, jewelry evolves over time, but by taking good care of it, you can prolong its beauty.
Warranty and repairs
Your jewelry is guaranteed for 1 year against manufacturing defects.
The guarantee will only be effective on presentation of the purchase invoice, and will not apply in the event of misuse, negligent maintenance or normal wear and tear of the item.
Beyond this guarantee, De Jaegher will do its utmost to satisfy you by offering to repair your jewelry in our workshop, subject to quotation.
Before sending us the product, please send us an e-mail to contact@dejaegher.com with your after-sales service request, a photo of the item and the invoice.
Clause of Non-Retrieval of Deposited Items in After-Sales Service (SAV)
Any jewelry entrusted to our company for repair, maintenance, or After-Sales Service (SAV) must be collected by the customer within 12 months from the date of deposit.
If the item is not retrieved within this period, and after a formal notice remains unanswered for 30 days, the jewelry will be considered abandoned. As a result, the company will become the full owner of the item and will have the right to freely dispose of it, including by resale, melting, or any other action at its discretion, without the customer being entitled to any compensation or further claim.
